About

How it all started

I can’t picture the person who doesn’t like holidays, there must be a few, but it’s not us. Over the years we’ve added to our family with kids and a dog and we now holiday frequently in the UK. With both of us having backgrounds in housing enforcement, it’s hard for us not to assess properties for health and safety whilst we’re staying in them, and we’ve come to realise that there’s no advice out there for short term let property owners. This is where we come in, we’re able to offer our unique experience as a service, to highlight the importance of health and safety in short term lets, and recognise landlords that act in accordance with guidance and legislation.

Vision

Our vision is that everyone who goes on holiday has a safe stay full of happy memories.
All short term let properties comply with relevant safety standards, and landlords of compliant properties are recognised.

Mission

Our mission is to create a recognised accreditation scheme to reward compliant landlords of short term lets. We want to develop guidance to support landlords of short term lets better understand health and safety.

Values

We value professionalism, compliance, health and safety, transparency, honesty, learning, value for money and consistency.
